COVID-19 Vaccine Update - Sept. 2025
First, we’d like to let you know that we have received our first shipment of Flu vaccines and are ready to administer them. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, please give us a call and we can schedule a quick visit that won’t require meeting with a provider.
Second, we’d like to offer some clarity in regards to the COVID-19 vaccine. As of today (Sept 5, 2025), the vaccine should be covered by insurance for individuals ages 65 and older and those with underlying health conditions. We do not have it available in the clinic and you will need to go to a pharmacy for administration. However, unlike in years past, you will not be able to simply request it from a pharmacy and have it administered. You are now required to have it ordered by your PCP (like a prescription) into the pharmacy of your choosing. If you would like for us to order it for you please follow these instructions:
Select the pharmacy where you would like to have it administered at.
Contact the pharmacy to confirm the brands that they are stocking (Pfizer or Moderna).
Contact us (either by portal message or phone) and let us know; a.) Which pharmacy you would like to have your vaccine called into. b.) Which brand you would like for us to call in.
Make your appointment at the pharmacy.
A few tips:
*We advise not scheduling your appointment at the pharmacy until the prescription has been ordered.
*Sending a portal message is the most efficient way to have your prescription placed.
*While we do our best to fill these requests in a timely manner, please allow 24 hours for the order to be processed.
